Organisers of the Onlincolnshire Digital Conference have lined up international speaker Stephen Parry from Lloyd Parry, who has won awards for his creative business methods, along with Trefor Davies from Timico Technology Group, Jonathan Fitzgerald from Lincolnshire County Council’s communications team and Richard Duxbury from Lincolnshire Media, which publishes the Lincolnshire Echo. CDI Alliance wins contract to support digital and new media sector growth in Sheffield

CDI Alliance, which was set up in July 2011 to deliver economic sector development and business support activity, has won a major contract in South Yorkshire.

This month CDI Alliance signed a contract with Sheffield City Council to launch and project manage a new business support initiative, the CDI New Opportunities Programme, on behalf of Creative Sheffield (the economic development organisation for Sheffield City Council). The first of 2013s’ Onlincolnshire third Thursday events at Lincoln Drill Hall, kicks off at 8.30am on 17th January with Nick Wild, Joint Managing Director from 360 Degrees Media Ltd based in London. He will share his experience of developing YouTube channels, as well generating more income through the equity in your business.

Nick is an senior media executive and entrepreneur with over 25 years experience in developing, financing and producing projects in music, online and in film.

Small and medium businesses have yet to harness the potential of the internet, says Matt Warman – yet doing so could make an £18 billion difference

There’s a £63billion ‘if’ at the heart of the UK economy, according to a report commissioned by lastminute.com founder Martha Lane Fox. That’s how much better off the UK’s digital champion reckons the country would be if we were the leaders of the digital world.
