Did you have an electronic time keeping system with the file of reconciliation sheets you had to produce for errors? Older friends tell us of the days of interviews when you were not appointed if you could not make it in for 8.30am. These memories are not extinct in some organisations but most have adopted flexible and mobile working to improve services, reduce costs and be more responsive to customer demands. So where is the world of work going? What are the smart ways of working that reduce costs and improve business performance?
