Digital Support Programme back again after autumn success

Business Lincolnshire is running a third series of digital workshops after a successful and oversubscribed autumn programme.

The workshops starting this month, will take place at eight different locations across Lincolnshire and will be delivered by industry experts and business mentors and will cover a range of exciting topics including email and content marketing, the much talked about changes to data protection (GDPR) and search engine optimization.

Stuart McFarlane-Bedford, leading digital adviser for Business Lincolnshire, said “With the digital sector becoming one of the fastest developing sectors in Lincolnshire, it is important that businesses in all sectors are equipped with the knowledge and skills to incorporate digital technology into their business”.

He continued: “There has been a huge demand from businesses for digital skills and knowledge across Lincolnshire, and we have designed this programme specifically for businesses who want to gain that first level of understanding, so that they feel they and their business activities are not being left behind. We are also providing more advanced masterclass workshops for those who want to expand their existing knowledge and build additional skills”.

Councillor Colin Davie, Executive Member for Economic Development at Lincolnshire County Council, said “We want to support small businesses in the county to develop digital skills to help them to develop and grow and to put Lincolnshire firmly on the digital map. The digital potential in our county has increased in recent years and we want to make sure our businesses are not being left behind and they have the same opportunities for digital growth.”

The digital workshops are available to book onto via the Business Lincolnshire website, with places being allocated on a first come first serve basis. This workshop activity is being delivered thanks to part funding from the European Regional Development Fund.
