Humber Scale-Up Business Growth Programme – is it for you?
Small to medium businesses in the Humber, scale-up with the growth development programme this year
We’re calling SME’s with 10 or more full time employees from across the Humber to realise their ambitions of expanding by joining a cohort to access our masterclasses, peer-to-peer board networks, coaching sessions and leadership events.
Richard Lukey and Guy Lewis have grown their own businesses from the ground up. Doing so has meant overcoming obstacles from funding to team management to product development. Now, in partnership with Winning Pitch and the Humber Business Growth Hub, the CDI Alliance directors are offering SME’s in the position they once were to come and learn from them. They’ll be joined by associates Julia Wilkinson and Coral Wilcox, who have specialist knowledge in areas including business planning, commercial lending, grant applications and marketing.
All will share their experience in a vibrant setting where participants can bounce their ideas off likeminded businesses owners looking at similar trajectories. Learning together will invigorate the cohort to level-up their business but also collaboratively add value to the Humber region by generating income and creating jobs.
Is this business support programme for me?
You’ll know if your business is right for the programme if the following applies.
- You and your team are totally committed to rapidly growing your business
- Your business requires specialist consultancy and advice to help overcome the challenges associated with rapidly scaling up
- You recognise that you may have to up-skill you and your team in order to successfully grow the business
- Your business needs to tap into the high growth business support in order to expand internationally and find the funds to fuel this growth
Perhaps you’ve been trading for 3 years and are profitable. Demand for your service is growing rapidly and you want to capitalise on the opportunity. But you’ve hit a wall. You can’t meet the demand because your team are already at full capacity. You need someone who’s been in your position to give specific advice on how you can improve your productivity and meet that demand.
The CDI Alliance directors and associates taking part in the Humber Business Growth Programme have that specialist knowledge and experience to help you on your way.
Am I eligible for the Humber masterclasses, coaching sessions and peer-to-peer boards?
We would be delighted for you to join our first cohort if you meet the following criteria:
- Have a turnover of less than €50m and a balance sheet of less than €43m
- Have 10+ full-time employees
- Be trading in the Humber area – Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, North East Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire
What will I take away from the business support programme?
You’ll join a series of half-day masterclasses that demonstrate how to overcome the most common growth constraints. Armed with this knowledge, you’ll be able to return to your business with awareness of what you can do to improve.
You’ll pool your experience with other forward-thinking Humber business owners in a confidential forum. Not only will you benefit from each other’s knowledge, but you’ll gain access to multiple professional networks which might introduce you to just the people your business needs.
You’ll work on a 3-year visioning orbit in one-to-ones with an experienced business coach. Planning every aspect of your business from PR & Marketing to joint ventures to new geographies, you’ll have a multi-faceted plan for how to reach your business goals and the expertise to help you put it into practice.
You’ll have 24hr access to online resources with growth toolkits, webinars, how to guides and templates so you can make visible progress and tick off the tasks that will lead to your expansion.
