In review, the first quarter of 2022.
It’s hard to believe that we’ve already started the second quarter of 2022. There’s been lots going on in the first quarter for CDI Alliance – so we thought we’d share a bit about the projects we’ve been working on:
- Hospitable Boost – a programme that devised and delivered on behalf of Lincolnshire County Council to support 30 businesses in the Visitor Economy of Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland. With the aim of helping the business owners make their ambitions a reality. Delivered across an intensive 8-week programme this allowed us to work closely with the delegates on a group, one-to-few and one-to-one basis. We covered everything from getting your finances in order, through to sales techniques, marketing and sustainability – plus quite a few other things in between! As part of this programme we filmed Case Studies with some Lincolnshire-based businesses to showcase how they had improved the customer journey and embraced sustainability as part of their plans for growth. Using these Case Studies provided great fuel for conversation during the group sessions.
- Fit for Business – a programme that is running in Lincolnshire and we are supporting through the production of a series of podcasts with the aim of introducing business owners, or those considering starting a business, to some business basics. The first podcast has just launched and can be found on all the key platforms and on the Business Lincolnshire website {link required}. We’re continuing to record content for this series over the coming months.
- Business Support – we also provide business support direct to businesses and we have completed a project to support a growing business with their plans for taking their business online. We worked with them to understand their target audience, their brand, and be able to communicate this effectively to prospective developers and designers, assisted the business with the development of a website brief and aided in the evaluation of the proposals submitted to the business. We’re continuing working with this business over the next month or so to help them define their needs from a CRM.
This support was delivered with support from the Calderdale College Business Scale Up Programme – meaning our client was able to access 40% funding to support the work.
If you’re interested in working with CDI Alliance either to develop and deliver a programme in your area; or have a requirement for business growth support for your business then do get in touch. We are still able to provide 40% funding on projects in certain locations in the North of England.
