CDI Alliance Directors Stuart McFarlane and Richard Lukey represented the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub at Boston College’s “The Age of Information and Technology” event yesterday – 25th January 2017.

The breakfast event which was attended by over 60 delegates was a fantastic opportunity to engage and network with some of the industry’s key players. It was a chance to see how technology is shaping the business landscape and experience how technology is being used innovatively to generate growth. Among the presenters and exhibitors were Tesla Cars, Parkinson Harness Technology and Seeing Machines. Alastair Protheroe from Seeing Machines captivated the audience with his presentation on the use of technology to recognise when truck drivers lose concentration and are at risk of falling asleep at the wheel, then create physical and audio stimulation to rapidly refocus them on the driving task in hand.
